I have made a commitment to have the Best Year Ever, by being present to the wonder and miracles in my everyday life and really savoring them. These are the things that I so often walk right by, when my mind is somewhere else, other than in the present moment. I’ve begun to see things differently in my “ordinary world.”
Today my breath was taken by this vine, which is tucked into a humble spot on my neighbor’s gravel and dirt driveway. The colors, the shapes and textures, and the bounty of brilliant red fruit. It all caught my attention. I have probably just brushed by it before, missing this wonderful example of nature’s artistry, on my way to someplace else.
